Rules and Terms of Entry:

Photos will be voted on by visitors to JupiterDaily.com. Voting is cast by IP address logging. Photos with multiple votes by the same IP address/range may be disqualified if your votes are deemed to be abusing/manipulating of the system in order to win.

Photos which will NOT be accepted are those which depict the object in a derogatory fashion or those in which the object appears to have been placed in a dangerous setting. Our staff reserve the right to refuse any photograph that they define as unacceptable.

Photos must be entered into our contest using the Submit a Photo link on our website and must be in gif, jpg or png format. Photos will be resized automatically in order to ensure timely downloads for all our website visitors.

Photo may be color or black/white.

Only 1 photo per household may be submitted per contest. You can submit multiple photos at one time, but additional photos will be held over for the next months contest. One photo per month entry.

Entering your photo means you grant JupiterDaily.com permission to publish the photo and your name on the web site and any additional publications announcing winners. Email, personal address and phone number will not be published, nor we will ever share your information with any third parties.

All photo entries become the property of JupiterDaily.com for use on our website or on our Facebook page.

Persons who have won a contest within the last 6 months are disqualified from winning again. This contest is for fun and we wish to allow others to ahve a chance at winning as well. :)

Winners will be notified by email within 7 days after the contest deadline.

Winners must accept terms of contest before prize package is released.  If terms are not accepted within 15 days of first notification, prize package will be forfeited.

Winners must claim their their prizes within 15 days of notification or prizes will be forfeited.

Employees of JupiterDaily.com and their families are not eligible to participate.

Prizes are based on availability and are subject to change. If this should happen, we will substitute with a similar item at equal value.

The information you submit to JupiterDaily.com will not be shared with third parties.

Photos will gain local exposure. If an agency contacts us for information about a photo, we will not share any information, but will contact the photo entrant with a message from the agency.

Entries received after the deadline will automatically be submitted into the following contest.

Professional photos may be submitted if the copyright of said photo is owned by the submitter. We may require you to send a letter relinquishing those copyrights to JupiterDaily.com if your photo wins.

JupiterDaily.com reserves the right to modify and/or change the contest conditions at any time. Contest rules shall be deemed in effect when posted on our site and will be effective at such time. By entering our contest you agree to abide by our terms and act in good faith in accordance with the rules.
