Roger Dean Stadium is pleased to announce that the Dog Days of Summer will be returning for a 7th year during the 2008 Minor League Baseball season. This summer, the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals have once again partnered with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League on their monthly salute to “Man’s Best Friend”. Dog Days of summer will take place April 12th, May 17th, June 28th, July 26th, and August 23rd."

| Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary |
provider writes, "The Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital at 185 E. Indiantown Road in Jupiter is working with the 2008 Palm Beach International Film Festival to raise funds to rebuild their recently destroyed facilities.
On April 12th at the Cobb Theaters in Jupiter, the film festival premier screening of “All Roads Lead Home” will host Safe Harbor representatives in an effort to raise funds and other donations to rebuild the organization’s facilities and support their on-going efforts to make sure no-kill animal shelters are available in Palm Beach County."

April 8, 2008 – Beginning this week, the Town of Jupiter will schedule FREE wind inspectio ns for its residents by certified Town of Jupiter Inspectors through the My Safe Florida Home program. Any owner of a single-family, detached, site-built home is eligible for the inspection. Jupiter’s inspectors will be performing inspections for Town residents, but non-residents can also receive the service through the State program."
