| EPPY FINANCIAL GROUP AND MASSMUTUAL SPONSOR EXCEPTIONAL PARENT’S DISABILITY AWARENESS NIGHT |
provider writes, "Eppy Financial Group, Inc. in conjunction with MassMutual and the Palm Beach Cardinals have sponsored Exceptional Parent magazine’s Disability Awareness Night on Tuesday, August 8 at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a tailgate party followed by the 6:35 p.m. start of the Cardinals taking on the Clearwater Threshers.
Disability Awareness Night honors the unsung heroes in our community. Our goal is to recognize the contributions made by 54 million Americans with disabilities as well as their families and caregivers. Eppy Financial Group and Exceptional Parent Magazine donate game tickets to several local disability organizations and during a pre-game ceremony at home plate one well-deserving citizen who has helped many families living with a disabled family member will be presented with a Distinguished Service Award."

Disability Awareness Night began in the summer of 2002 when Exceptional Parent Magazine combined forces with the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox to create the first sponsorship of its kind.
MassMutual and Eppy Financial Group, long-time supporters of families with special needs, became sponsors shortly thereafter.
MassMutual and Eppy Financial Group provide for the long-term needs of people with disabilities. Through their innovative SpecialCare (SM) program both firms help parents and caregivers effectively integrate financial analysis into a thorough, customized life plan, combining a program of future-care planning, financial and legal strategies for individuals with special needs. Throughout the year, Eppy Financial Group conducts educational seminars and meets families ready to start this invaluable planning process.
“When caring for a child with a disability, families often become so focused on the day-to-day needs that they often lose sight of the larger financial issues that loom ahead,” said Joseph Eppy, president & founder of Eppy Financial Group. “Clearly, many parents need to start early and take a long-term view when preparing financially for their child’s financial future.”
