admin writes, "Came to Safe Harbor in August of 2005 as a stray. He was very scared and covered in burrs and extremely over heated. He is approx 7-8 years old and qualifies for our senior pet care program, even though he doesn�t act old one bit. He is happy and full of life, but laid back enough for a quiet household to lay on a couch and watch TV. "
Rupert came to us afraid of human touch but has improved greatly through our training program. His warning has always been a growl to let us know he is uncomfortable. Now, most of his growls are happy �play� growls as his personality has grown. He loves to rub up against people and �talk� to them.
