provider writes, "(ARA) – Suzie looking precious in her angel costume for the holiday pageant, the family feast with four generations in attendance, and the huge grin on your loved one’s face when he unwrapped the exact gift he'd been hoping for. The holiday season is full of precious memories.
Unfortunately, they often get stuck in digital cameras or memory cards until well into the new year. "

| Scamming on the Rise: How to Avoid becoming a Victim |
provider writes, "(ARA) - Unfortunately, tough times can bring out the worst in some people. That’s especially true of scam artists who prey on those who are down on their luck or who can be easily intimidated.
Scam artists are anything but artists. They’re criminals who use a variety of tools, including the U.S. mail, telemarketing and the Internet to part you from your hard-earned money. Believe it or not, some are so good at what they “sell,” they’ve persuaded people to mortgage or refinance their homes in order to participate in phony sweepstakes, pyramid schemes, investment offers and other scams. In fact, there’s even a breed of scam artists who specialize in “helping” people recover money they’ve lost to other scammers."

| GOODBYE DEAR FRIEND |
provider writes, "Safe Harbor is proud of our commitment to saving the lives of animals that normally would not have been given a second chance, however with much sadness in our hearts, today we lost one of our own.
Earlier this year we received a cruelty case from Animal Care and Control. An 18-year-old boy was arrested for repeatedly sexually assaulting the family’s 4 year-old male German Shepherd. The dog, who had come to be known as Tybee, had to be treated for severe physical abuse. Safe Harbor took Tybee in to offer him medical condition and provide stability and love and to help him recover from a horrible ordeal."
